Personal & Interpersonal DevelopmentPhysical Development
Children need time for active play to burn off all of the energy their little bodies produce. We provide physical development programs that are fun for the children, but also specifically target important areas of their growth.
Producing healthy children inside and out remains one of our most important goals. We strive daily to make sure that they get every opportunity to learn while playing.
Creative & Aesthetic Development
Young minds desperately need outlets that encourage imagination and creative expression. Our experienced staff understand how to use art, writing, music, and other creative outlets to stimulate their minds and make sure that learning remains fun. Older children can learn about different types and styles of music and art to enrich their overall learning.
At Puggles Child Care Centre, we believe that each moment a child is in our care is an opportunity for teaching, learning, and fun.
Intellectual Development
Unlike some other child care centres, we do not simply sit children in front of a television set to keep them occupied. Our innovative staff continually work to make sure that the children’s minds, bodies, and imaginations remain stimulated.
These intellectual development programs target reading, writing, creativity in art and music, and a broad spectrum of other areas. We work hard to innovate and create programs and projects that will shape each child into a curious lifelong learner who can maximize his or her potential.
Language & Literacy Development
With reading and writing proficiency dropping throughout the industrialized world, each of us working with children should take every chance to promote language and literacy. Our staff incorporates a wide range of activities designed to help children learn to read and write better, making sure they are prepared for both school and lifelong learning.
Our learning centres carry a wide variety of books and music, as well as appropriate instructional technology for all ages. Educational programs and projects are always designed to bring both learning and fun to the child care centre experience.
Self Help Skills
The public school system provides many tremendous educational opportunities, but time for basic life and self help skills is often lacking. Yet children still need to learn these skills to function well in school, work, and life. Our staff uses a variety of techniques to keep learning fun while making sure the children master skills they will need and use throughout their life. http://africanexperience.com.au/ and specialised music sessions weekly with local musician Sheridan Simmons.
